Mashupciti Mashup Music for the Masses!

Just doing a link round up of some good mashup sites to check out. So links to producers, communities, Djs, events, whatever.

• Bootiesf. This is a great site to go and check out upcoming mashup events/parties in the San Fransisco area. They feature some great news items, videos and pictures from previous shows on the site. A must see for all.
• G3RSt is one of my favorite mashup producers right now. He comes out with some great tunes that are a lot of fun. Check out his archives for quality mashups!
• Phil Retrospector makes me stand back in awe and wonder when he drops a mashup. From a truly eclectic mashup style, there are all kinds of interesting tidbits within these mashups.
• Apollo Zero was an early mashup producer I stumbled across. There is always some great mashups coming from his neck of the binary woods. Definitely check out his site.

Alright, I’m back. Norway was a blast! 5 course meals, fantastic wine, cognac and even a shot of Akvavit. It was truely a productive work week! All partying aside, it was a pretty serious work week and a lot was accomplished. I have to say I really enjoyed Oslo and wish I could have spent more time seeing Amsterdam instead of just the airport! Ah well, next time.  So time to get back to mashups! YAY! I have recieved a bunch of new mashup submission which I have been going through and have decided on a few to feature here. They will be shoing up shortly.

I’ve also been thinking on how to get the “mashups” further out into the public eye to those who can and will appreaciate them for what they are. I would really like to here any suggestions, comments or ideas you all may have in order to grow this here little website of mashup merriment. FIre off an email or comment in this here post, which ever you prefer.
