3 Apps That Will Change You

I must say, I love the fact that I was born in this time period. I really enjoy learning and always have. I remember when I was 4 years old, my older brother had just started school and it made me jealous because I wanted to learn. So as a 4 four year old I told my mom I wanted to learn how to read. I’ve always wanted to learn. We live in such a unique time period. There is so much information and technology around us that if there was anything we ever wanted to know, all we would have to do is simply google it on our iPhones. Sometimes I feel that technology can just clutter our minds, we live in social media, and games, and things that are constantly grabbing our attention. So here are a few apps that will help you stay out of the clutter and help you stay productive and more efficient throughout your day.

1. Clear

Clear is nothing more than a simple to-do list. But the interesting and unique thing about this app, is it has a motivation catch to it. There is unlockable content and hidden themes that you can find if you complete a task at a certain time, or a variety of other things. It makes it fun! The layout out and control of the app is personally my favorite thing about it. It’s so different and intuitive, the controls and layout is very touch oriented. Great app for anyone that needs an extra incentive to stay motivated.

2. Alarm.com

alarm.com is developed by a company that I found in the Dallas area called, Smith Security. They do most of their work with Dallas home security but are growing to the surrounding areas like McKinney home security. This apps allows you to control just about every aspect of your home security system. You can control the lights, the thermostat, unlock and lock the doors, even view and monitor any home security cameras you have installed in your home. Never let your home security systems be alone again. This app is perfect for anyone that travels a lot and has to be away from their home.

3. Evernote

Evernote is one of the best, if not the best, note taking apps in the App Store. This app is perfect for any student or anyone that does a lot of public speaking. You can access your notes from any device you have, your computer, iPhone, tablet, all of it. You can start your paper or notes from one device and finish it on another. Great app for any constant note taker.
