Qubic has quietly been busy with this massive and truly impressive project. Digitaly remastered his mashups of 08 plus 3D artwork AND 8 videos complete with information booklets! WOW! Taking this to the next level Qubic? So, let the happy fun times begin.
Qubic has been hard at work on a very big project as of late. Part of that includes this fantastic remastering of his terrifyingly awesome mashup “A little pice for Halloween”. With this is the mashup, a video (by Guv’nor), and 3D album art! Bloody fantastico!

This is really sweet. Just got this hot off the….email. From Qubic comes;
“The inspiration for this mashup came to me when I was listening to Come Inside by The Thompson Twins. At the 1:49 mark in the song, I heard the 4-measure sample of the intro from The Robots by Kraftwerk hidden as a faint background layer in the first lull of the song. I scoured the rest of the song for other Kraftwerk samples, and that was the only sample tucked away in the song. The sample was also left unaltered… Come Inside is slightly slower than The Robots, and the speed of the sample was left at its original speed. So the sample in the Thompson Twins song is actually slightly OOT (out of time) and slightly off beat in order to “fit in”.” Read more here…
I swear I hear a Transformer transforming in this…..
Man this is a spicey, sexy, naughty mashup! Not the obvious vulgar type either. More seductive than anything. Really well done! Another quality mashup from Qubic! Who is on fire by the way.

Another new find! Qubic has sent me a couple of really stellar mashups! This one has two versions attached to it, both really laid back and fun to listen to. London Beat totally reminds me of Billy Ocean for some reason. In fact, I thought they were one and the same for awhile. Weird!
